The Christchurch Big Model Train Show Committee was saddened to hear of the loss of one of our former committee members John Wilson, who recently passed peacefully at his home. John was a keen railway Modeller, having previously built a large layout at his home in Woolston. He was also involved in the Mainland model car group and the Halswell Model Engineer's as Volunteer Driver most Sundays. The committee would like to acknowledge his valued contribution over many years in helping to run the Big Model Train Show. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his brother Rob, and his extended family.
